About the Imus situation, he is obviously a hateful racist but I dont think
he should have been fired. He should have just been suspended and fined.
Many white people were whining and complaining because they feel that
blacks can say anything about white people without anything hapening to
them. Well, you guys rule the world and society is set up for you to
succeed so do you want to switch??.. You also never get shot 50 times and
unjustly beaten by the police. But what amazes me about the Imus situation
is when many white people dont give a xxxx about what Imus said about the
black women at Ruckers, instead they only care about Imus being in
trouble. Its also funny to hear many white people comparing Imus to
rappers who kick dirt on black women. It's almost like some white people
think that they should be able to kick dirt on black women since rappers
do it (which is absurd and shows how hateful some are)

Firstly, let me go on record as saying that I STILL don't see how 'nappy
headed hos' is considered a racist term. I have heard that phrase
indicated toward white women in my locale. It is disrespectful, and was
definitely uncalled for toward the basketball team, who have gained a
great amount of respect in my eyes. The only reason I go against the Imus
firing is because people make mistakes. He showed great humility and
apologized. The Rutgers team accepted his apology.

Sharpton and Jackson are preachers? I wonder when the last time is that
they cracked open the Bible while at a pulpit? I wonder what they would
do if a person came up to them saying that the Holy Spirit was dealing
with them and asked them to lead them in the prayer of Salvation?
They'd probably be SPEECHLESS.

I think this boils down to two blowhards stating their opinions on the
matter. That being said, I think Al Sharpton is a complete disgrace.
It's so-called "race warriors" like that who still perpetuate racism in
this country; to do otherwise would take away their job.
