the d/a deserved to get run over. he attempted a pass w/ solid double
yellow line. he gives bikers a bad rep.

That big wide yellow two line means no passing....that moron on the bike

To bad it was not a bigger van or SUV that he tried to pass. He deserves to
break alot of bone in his body for trying a dumbass move like that. He
might learn. Gives bikers a really bad name for the one that follow the
rules.

I always try to avoid jerkoffs like this when Im out on a ride. They either
try to: A. race you or B. show off as they pass you. Wearing a jacket that
has flames on it ( I think thats what the first dude had?) should be a
dead giveaway that you are encountering D-bags. The only people that
videotape their rides are self-loving douches anyway.

bikers think they can do anything they feel like. i would turn in front
of them all day long if given the chance while they attempt to pass in a
no passing zone.

I feel sorry....
for everyone involved. The poor biker was undoubtedly injured. The
driver of the van was probably scared senseless through no fault of her
own. I think we should take care when we drive and always think safety.

Way of the road
Even if it was a regular double line, idiots do this everyday without much
problem. The big issue here is the main road actually curves left and the
road he was attempting to follow the other bike on on is an off road...so
all regular traffic on this road takes this bend (just like the van
did...and just like the sign says)...the road itself appears to go
straight and thats what caused the confusion, and ultimately an
accident....
