Child abuse? WHAT!? The kid he robbed has rights too! Public
embarrassment is what kids need sometime 'cause it's a valid deterrent.
It's not like in Iraq where they cut his hand off or anything. Sometimes
we need to stop hugging the trees and handing out peace flowers and get
realistic.

If I found out my kid was stealing sh!t from someone or somewhere, I would
for damn sure make him/her do this. What's better: Beating the sh!t out
of your kid teaching him that violence is the answer, or humiliating them
to the point that they learn that violence and thievery is wrong? I
choose the latter. This will make him think twice in the future about
doing something stupid.

hahhah no only did people in his town see it, but they broadcasted it on
tv, and now its on the internet. that kids reputation is destroyed. im
gonna remember his face and if i ever see him im gonna be like "YOU GOT
PWNED!". good luck finding a job when you get older. someones gonna bust
out this clip when you least expect it.

Don't you think this boy has been punished enough be being named
MONTAVIOUS?!?!?!?!!
I don't know how I feel about this type of punishment. I suppose only
time will tell if it was the correct choice. If it prompts him to change
his behavior, great. If not, well, the odds were stacked against him the
beginning when he was named MONTAVIOUS!!!

So...it apparently wasn't humiliating for the other kid that he beat up and
stole from? News flash...IT IS HUMILIATING TO GET YOUR ASS KICKED AND YOUR
STUFF STOLEN!!! Most adults know kids do stuff when they're kids. Busting
out this clip 20 years later won't do a thing unless the other adult is an
idiot.

If anything, busting out the clip would show he had good parents and
learned from his stuff. I'd rather hire a kid like that then the one that
did all the stuff and smacked his mom up and swore at her until nothing
happened.

Insulting and belittling someone you don't know or have ever met, or even
know the age of, is one of those things that should be corrected by
parents. Though learning right and wrong and child abuse are two
completely separate things.
