woah, what a twisted christian crusader, x-mas IS all about $$$ and
receiveing gifts, at least to the spoiled little xxxxtard kids today.
That xxxx needs a wake up call, she's prolly still stuk in the 50's or
60's. And like going to church every week is going to help anyone!
Christianity is based on a convenient misrepresentation of what one man
supposedly did 2000 years ago.

well dude true there is no proof, except the bible, that christianity is
true, but we also cant go back in time and prove it is false. i mean the
chances of the right conditions for complex life on a planet is 1 in one
trillion, and the earth is positioned in the best place in the universe
for scientific discoveries. watch "a privileged planet" and ull know what
im talking about. that mom is retarded tho, thats what makes christianity
look bad. she should let the kid make his own decision. Personally, i
think aliens put us here to observe us, like an ant farm lol.

I'm sure I'll get flamed but here I go.
These are Catholic Christians. If you notice, she mentioned
"confirmation." Confirmation is a sacrament where you make an adult
decision to confirm your faith. Basically, the church understands that
you're baptised into it as a baby; confirmation gives people the
opportunity to say, "Now that I'm an adult, I confirm that I want to be
part of the church."
It's possible, at the time, that he was coerced into it, and felt he had
no choice. There are lots of parents like this that force their kids to
do something they don't want to do. It's sad that this happens when the
church clearly has something built-in for people who want out.
