The stupid Brits have confiscated all firearms from the public as well. So
not only can the police not protect themselves, they can't protect you
either. Yyou guessed it, the criminals didn't turn theirs in. So they
have these cameras everywhere and record a lot of crimes. But what about
PREVENTING crime? Here in the US, FOR NOW, we have the ability to protect
ourselves.

Oh yeah, what a great xxxxing idea, lets all carry guns. The police got
rushed by that bunch of guys, if any of them had guns, you know for a fact
the police would have been shot. They walked away, the cameras followed the
guys, and in true british style, they would have been caught and had a good
kickin from the police

Actually it is VERY difficult to buy a shooter in the UK. And that's a good
thing considering their crime rate involving fire arms is next to nill.
There are SOME firearms cirulation, but they cost alot and are very hard
to get.

homicides in the UK (6.6%) were committed with firearms, in comparison,

5.5 murders per 100,000 of population were reported by police in the United
States in 2000, of which 70% involved the use of firearms (75% of which
were illegally obtained)
Before the 1997 ban In the UK, handguns were only held by 0.1% of the
population.

In mid-2005 the UK was home to 60.2 million people
there are 299,398,484 people in America in 2006, the Uk population in
comparison to America is 5 times as small so if britain was 5 times larger
in terms of population and their annual gun related deaths to children was
increased by 5 that would be 95 deaths compared to americas 5,285 .

americans always go on about the brits need guns, thats the answer. thats
cos americans cant fight to save there lives, so they shoot people over a
spilt pint, wer as in uk, there might be a fight , bit of a beating but
everyone goes home at the end of the night!
