for Real...we think $4.40 a gallon is bad?...Europe's been paying over
$9.00 a gallon since forever, yet their cars (engines) aren't available
here....he's absolutely right about the Golf Diesel! But then again, that
wouldn't make Exxon-Mobil any profits, so HUMMERS, F-350's & HEMI's are in
full production in the good ol USA...fucin locusts we are!! Destroy &
Consume!!

So true. Our government is only out to fatten their own pockets. Simple as
that. And every one in this country is to xxxx to do anything about it.
Wonder what its going to be like in 50 years when China rules the
earth....

I agree that the Prius is crap, that being said, he Toyota never claimed
that the Prius was fast and that 66 miles to the gal is on the highway, he
was in the city. Even it did only get 45 miles to the gallon thats pretty
damn good. Why would you buy the Golf diesel when it is more expensive and
diesel is a lot more expensive. He should be more objective.

Justbetter you are right about our greedy government, but not in the case
of gas. They dont set the gas prices. It's people called "Index
Speculators" that work for oil companys. U.S. govt has no control over it.
